Baked Pineapple with Honey and Olive Oil

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Pineapple
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 1dl Gallo Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 200g Honey

PREPARATION:
Preheat the oven to 180ÂșC. Peel the pineapple and then make "optional" diagonal cuts, and in a bowl mix the Gallo Classic olive oil with the honey.
Open the vanilla pod along its side and remove the seeds with a pointed knife, then add to the honey and olive oil and mix again mix well. Put the pineapple in a glass "pyrex" form and then roast for 30 minutes. Keep scooping the juice and pouring the mixture over the pineapple.
