Caramelized Onions with Vinegar

Preparation Time: MEDIUM
Serves: 4


  • 300g Red Onions
  • 1dl Mild Gallo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 100g Sugar
  • 2dl Raspberry Gallo Vinegar
  • To taste: Salt

Peel and the cut into julienne strips.
In a frying pan heat the Mild Gallo Olive Oil.
Then add the onion strips and sautée with a little salt.
Add the Gallo Vinegar and the sugar.
Put a lid on the frying pan and then cook until the onions are very soft.
Let cool and serve with grated goat cheese.

The Gallo products that the Chef suggests for this recipe can be substituted by other Gallo varities of your preference. Experiment and share your incredible combinations!
