Fusilli with Carbonara Sauce

Serves: 4


  • 300g Fusilli
  • 2dl Full cream
  • 125g Chopped mushrooms
  • 100g Bacon, cut into strips, julienne
  • 100g Freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 Quail eggs
  • 25ml Gallo Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Chopped parsley, to taste

Cook the fusilli in water and rock salt.
When cooked, drain and drizzle with some Gallo Classic Olive Oil.
Pan fry the bacon strips, add the mushrooms, and the cream, and when it boils ,add the Parmesan cheese.
Serve the pesto with the spaghetti, and drizzle the basil flavored olive oil over the pasta.

Making basil flavored olive oil: Heat some Gallo Classic Olive Oil to 100ÂșC. Take off the burner and add the basil leaves, and then let it cool.The mixture can be blended.
