Meat and Bacon Puff Pastry Pie

Serves: 4


  • 400g Cooled puff pastry
  • 400g Beef for braising
  • 100g Chopped bacon
  • 100g Chopped onion and carrots
  • 50g Flour
  • 2dl Gallo Classic Olive Oil
  • 1 Egg yolk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Braise the meat and the bacon in Gallo Classic Olive Oil with the onion and carrots.
Sprinkle with flour to thicken the sauce from braising.
When done, blend coarsely and cool.
Roll out the dough and set aside enough to cover and decorate the pie.
Place the stuffing inside the puff pastry, cover and decorate with the pastry you set aside.
Brush the beaten egg yolk over the top and bake in a hot oven 200ยบ until the dough is cooked and golden.
Serve with spinach leaves drizzled with Gallo Classic Olive Oil and fleur de sel.
