Christmas Turkey and Stuffing

Serves: 10


For the Turkey:

  • 2.5 Turkey breasts
  • 200g Sliced oranges
  • 100g Sliced lemon
  • 200ml Gallo First Crop 2017-2018
  • 100ml Porto wine
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

For the stuffing:

  • 500g Minced beef
  • 120g Chopped walnuts
  • 100g Raisins
  • 100g Chopped dried apricots
  • 100ml Gallo Frist Crop 2017-2018
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Turkey:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
Cover using aluminium foil.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 180ºc.

For the stuffing:
Season the meat using the salt, pepper, Gallo First Crop 2017-2018, Porto wine and squeeze the oranges and lemons for juice.
On a baking tray, making a bed with the squeezed orange and lemon slices.
Place the meat on top and roast for one and a half hours at 160ºc and then for 15 minutes at 180ºc.

Serve the turkey with the stuffing on the side, and the gravy from the roast.

Marinate the turkey overnight.
