Breaded Oven Baked Hake Fillets

Serves: 4


  • 4 Hake fillets
  • 100g Breadcrumbs
  • 50ml Gallo Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1dl Milk
  • 1 tbsp Sweet red bell pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 Cherry tomatoes
  • 150g Mixed leaves salad
  • 4 Carrots
  • 100ml Tomato sauce

Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Season the hake fillets with salt, lemon juice and milk, then run them over the breadcrumbs and place them on a baking tray or Pyrex dish.
Drizzle Gallo Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the fillets, sprinkle with the bell pepper powder and bake for 20 minutes, until golden.
Meanwhile, peel the carrots and cut them into chips, and season the lettuce leaves and the cherry tomatoes with the Gallo Reserve Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Remove the fish from the oven and serve with the salad, the carrot chips and the tomato sauce on the side.

Try wrapping the hake fillets in spinach leaves before running them through the breadcrumbs.
