Mayonnaise Cake

Preparation Time: MEDIUM
Serves: 1 Cake

• 150g Yellow or Brown Sugar
• 200g Mayonnaise (prepared with Gallo Mild Olive Oil)
• 6un Eggs
• 180g Flour
• 1 Tablespoon of Baking Powder
• 150g Grated Walnut Kernels

Whip the yellow/brown sugar with the mayonnaise until it becomes a light cream.
Add the yolks and continue whipping.
Mix the baking powder with the flour and the grated walnuts, and then fold into mayonnaise.
Whip the egg whites until they are stiff, and then fold into the mixture.
Bake in a rectangular pyrex for 40 minutes at 200ºC.
Then sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into cubes.
